An end mill with a square 3-flute long neck bit with added radius for aluminum.
It has a sharp cutting edge that prevents the built-up edge that is unique to aluminum.
The unique tip pocket shape allows for the cutting of grooves to be achieved with 2 flutes in parallel at the cutting depth.
It has a 3-flute shape to be strong against chatter and is capable of high-speed, high-efficiency machining of grooves.
The radial blade tip is also useful to prevent chipping.
The rounded edge of the blade rear end suppresses machining streaks caused by the multi-stage machining of side surfaces.
