Heat Measures

Heat management is the cooling of electrical equipment and electronic products in order to prevent failures, thermal runaway and fires to create an environment where the devices can be used safely. Appropriate heat management helps maintain the correct operation of machines and extend their lifespan. Heat management products consist of three types: a ventilation type that uses a cooling fan to blow air directly onto the bottom of the electronic device; a suction type that lowers the temperature by sucking out air with the fan rotation; and a fanless type that uses a cooling pad or heatsink. These are classified according to the equipment or whether they have vents. Heat management related products include fuses that prevent heating or fires; thermal cut-off or cut-out devices that function as safety devices; and Peltier elements, which are a type of thermoelectric element. It is important that these used correctly to ensure safety.
