Specifications/Overview

■Cautions on Designing/Using Link Cables
(1) Use it within the load capacity of the maximum operating force.
(2) To avoid loosening, be sure to firmly tighten the outer tube mounting portion.
 (Depending on the current situation, order/use the alterations of the mounting bracket.)
(3) When bending the cable for wiring, ensure at least 100 mm straight area from both ends of the outer tube, so bending stress is not applied to them.
 Do not clamp the bending area of the outer tube. (It could degrade the durability.)
(4) Wire the cable in such a way that the bending angle is equal to more than the minimum bending radius R.
(5) When wiring the cable, try to reduce the number of bending as much as possible.
(6) If the wiring system is very long, fix the outer tube in the appropriate places to prevent it from moving during operations.
(7) When wiring the cable in shape of an S, provide a straight area at least twice the stroke. Otherwise, the operating force will be reduced sharply.
(8) Cautions on Using Link Wire
 When fixing the cable to a pulley, use a pulley with O.D. larger than indicated on the table below. Durability varies depending on the operation speed or the load weight.

■Features of Link Cable
● Control Cable generally called PULL cable and intended to transmit the force and the corresponding displacement to remote devices. By using this type of cable in combination with various connecting components,
complicated power transmission becomes possible.

● Originally designed as the internal components of the automobiles - the power transmission component with the characteristics of "lightweight," "direct tactile," "assemblability," "vibration damping & soundproofing," and "safeness."

[Flexible Design/Assembly]Without requiring the joint mechanism on the intermediate area, this type of cable allows linkage to be established between the controlling part and the operating part based on O.D. clearance, if there is any available.
[Quake Resistance & Soundproofing]Is less rigid compared to the mechanical rod type and excels in sound dampening and vibration-proof properties.
[Space Saving]Flexible placement of operation mechanism part and controlling part allows for unit compacting.
[Reliability]Highly reliable because direct linkage can be established mechanically between the operating part and the controlling part.
[Economical]Simpler structure compared to the other connecting mechanism. Fewer assembly tasks required and easy to wire.
