A D5000 series contact.
[Features]
· High current contact: A box-shaped contact concept has been adopted that is resilient against “twisting, ” based off our proven dynamic series. With a newly-developed copper alloy material similar to that used in the D-3000 series, exceptional springiness and electric inductance is provided with this reliable recessed contact. Furthermore, the silver-plated D-5000α series is also available, covering an even higher range of currents. Contacts are available to suit the needs of particular jobs.
· Sequential contact: Sequential contact is possible in order to release (by grounding) built-up static electricity before mating. A long tab has been developed for the sequential connection of tab contacts. Through the combined use of these and normal tab contacts, a sequential connection environment can be constructed.
· Tine (lead) for high currents: the board mounting tines (leads) are the newly developed twin lead type. Definite patterns and connector linkages can be made in order to preserve a wide connection surface area on printed circuit boards.
· IP20 (protects fingers from getting too close): the reverse mounting D-5300 type is proposed for applications with an electrically powered device. By using housing that can accommodate a recessed contact in the device (panel), IP-20 standards for the device's connector are met.
