WEL 316L is a low carbon austenitic stainless steel welding rod, and as the carbon containing amount is low, the deposited metal does not cause intergranular corrosion when used as welded. Therefore, it is suitable for places where severe corrosion resistance is required such as chemical corrosion environments including flue gas desulfurization equipment, fertilizer plants, food chemical equipment as well as marine atmosphere.
