Application and Usage Characteristic | Welding of general structures, such as vehicles, light gauge steel, and buildings. It reduces the amount of fumes by 30% compared to similar rods. With excellent re-arcing and slag removability, it is ideal for intermittent welding, fillet welding, and tack welding. It can be bent by hand for use, and with a rod diameter of 3.2 mm or less, vertical downward welding is also possible. Because it tends not to absorb moisture, under ordinary storage conditions, drying can be omitted. | Main Points of Work | Excessive current reduces X-ray performance and is the reason for degradation of workability. Hence, use the appropriate current range. Due to excessive absorption of moisture, besides deterioration of workability, pits may also occur. Hence, dehydrate at 70 to 100°C for 30 to 60 minutes.
