The material is regulated specifically for high-pressure gas facilities and pressure vessels, etc. These regulations differ to cast iron products, which are regulated by JIS G5502 Standard for Ductile Iron (FCD400-15, etc.).
· Cast iron products with the following chemical composition, mechanical properties, and micro structure-—as specified in the JIS and METI Notification for ductile iron castings (FCD-S)—make this product suitable for use in high-pressure gas equipment and pressure vessels.
