A floating chain tensioner is a device that adjusts the slack to maintain the tension of the chain. A type of tensioner, also called a chain tensioner. Use the "Carrier" made of special resin to adjust the slack by sandwiching the chain and fix the carrier with the "Strap". There are two types: a bolt type that fixes the strap with screws, and a ratchet type that attaches the strap by inserting it into the carrier. Both are easy to install, but the ratchet type has the advantage of requiring no tools. There are two types of bolt type straps: single pin type and dual pin type. Floating chain tensioners have a lightweight and compact structure, and can be used floating in the air to save space. In addition to reducing noise and vibration, it can also extend the lifespan of the chain.
