Why am I asked to fill out a Compliance Declaration?

As an international company, MISUMI is obliged to comply with export controls and their legal requirements, which are regulated by EU regulations, worldwide sanctions lists and the German Foreign Trade Regulation. As your company is based in a third country and/or operates in a critical industry sector, we can only complete your registration once you have completed, signed and returned our Compliance Declaration.

My Company is already a registered customer with MISUMI. I would like to register an additional user account for myself - How can I do this?

If your company already has a corporate account with MISUMI, you can have an additional user account added to the existing corporate account. The system requirement for this is that you know your company's MISUMI customer code. Please do the following within the online registration:
  • Enter your email address and submit the form
  • Confirm the activation link you will receive via email
  • Enter your personal details and choose a login ID and password
  • Choose the option to add your user account to an existing corporate account
  • Enter the MISUMI customer number of your company, check your data in the next step and send the registration.
 
Your registration will be checked afterwards. Please be aware that your registration will not be approved by MISUMI, but by your company's internal administrator. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You can then log in to your account and fully use it.

How can I find out who is the administrator responsible for approving my account?

If you have added yourself as an additional user to an existing corporate account by entering a MISUMI customer number, your company administrator will receive an email asking to complete your registration.
 
Due to system reasons, it is currently not possible to automatically inform you about your administrator. If you would like to contact your company's internal administrator directly, please send an email to account@misumi-europe.com. We will share the relevant information about your company's corporate account administrator with you.

How does 'Quick Order' work?

The 'Quick Order' button is located on the product detail page and is enabled as soon as a part number has been generated.

This function allows you to order the selected quantity of the current product directly: the cart page is skipped, and you are forwarded straight to the order confirmation page, where you can verify and place your order.

Please note that this function is only available for one part number at a time. If you would like to combine multiple products in one order, please use the 'Add to cart' function.

Products which are already in the cart are not affected by 'Quick Order'. If the 'Quick Order' process is cancelled, the product is added to the cart.

What permissions does the account administrator have?

Only two things differentiate the company's internal account administrator from the regular users of a corporate account at MISUMI:

  1. The administrator is responsible for approving new users who would like to be linked to the corporate account via online registration using the “User Management” console in the MyMISUMI customer portal. You can find an instruction About the how-to in our FAQ.
  2. The administrator can view the list of users linked to the corporate account and their authorisations for the MISUMI online shop via the “User Management” console in the MyMISUMI customer portal. The administrator cannot view the personal data of individual users. Please note that the administrator is not authorised to modify or delete the data of individual users. If you want to delete users from the list (e.g. because they have left the company, etc.), please send an email to account@misumi-europe.com and provide us a list with the names of the users to be deleted. We will take care of the modification for you.

Which payment methods does MISUMI offer?

MISUMI offers the payment methods invoice (30 days), advance payment via bank transfer, credit card (Visa & Mastercard) or PayPal. You can select the payment methods accordingly during the online order process. For orders sent to MISUMI in writing, the standard payment method is generally invoice (30 days). Educational institutions (schools, universities, etc.) as well as associations, are approved based on advance payment only and will receive a pro forma invoice for their orders. The order will only be processed once it has been settled and the payment has been posted. If you would like to receive a PDF invoice please see the picture on the right. No discounts on the invoice amount and associated reduction/extension of the payment term are offered as standard.

How do I get a copy of the invoice?

You can find a copy of the invoice in the  MyMISUMI customer portal:
 
  • Log in to MyMISUMI-profile
  • Go to the orders overview
  • Click on the relvant order
  • In the menu you can now download copy of the invoice as PDF file.
Alternatively, you can also access and download it via the document portal in the menu bar on the left-hand side of the MyMISUMI customer portal.
 
Please be aware that invoices will be provided in the order overview at least one working day after the order is shipped.

What are the Bank details for MISUMI?

The bank details for MISUMI Europa GmbH are: MISUMI Europa GmbH Commerzbank AG Frankfurt IBAN: DE06 5004 0000 0382 2913 00 BIC: COBADEFFXXX. This information is also included in the footer of your MISUMI invoice or online in the supplier self-declaration.

How can I get a statement of account/customer statement?

You can download the statement of account/customer statement directly from the MyMISUMI customer portal:
 
  • Log in to MyMISUMI-profile
  • In the menu on the left side you will find the category 'Document Hub'
  • Click on 'Customer Statement Download' to download the document as PDF file.
